If you are like me and HATE The Arrogant Canadian hockey fans, say the stupidest thing you've heard a Canadian fan say, I'll start
"Oh we will crush the US in the gold medal game (if we get there) and they only beat us by luck." The key word there was IF, you cant be smack talking if you dont get there
The only ignorance right now, is coming from you. Hockey is Canada's game, and because one or two fans say something like that, you, being a smart and confident person, take it as the whole population saying that. Which is in fact, the most ignorant thing a person can do.
And then, you go and make a thread about it. You beat us, so what? Why are YOU angry? We lost, we have the right to whine and moan about it, but do you have the right to whine and moan about winning? No. Leave it a lone, if it actually bugs you what some fan said, then honestly, stop watching it at all.
If it were us who had won, there would be Americans saying the same, and some Canadian making this thread. Stop yourself now. And don't act as if Americans have always been the good guys. Come on, constantly, (On this site as well) Americans will down play the world or Canada, in order to boast about themselves. I've been here long enough to have seen it. But you know what? Not all Americans are like that, only the ignorant ones.
Never group the whole populace into one because of the characteristics of one or more people.
Okay, I realise that you're feeling sore because it's obvious that we're better hockey players than you, and it's okay. You don't have to be ashamed. Some people are just naturally better at some things than others. Say, for example, you guys are way better at invading countries for their oil and basing a strong margin of your lifestyle on a being which may or may not exist. Also, we can't hold a candle to you guys at eating competitions, so chin up, it's not as bad as it seems.
A lot of offtopic, because of the topic, not really the brightest of topics either (hate topics = bad idea in most cases, especially when it comes to sport, countries or both) Besides that, I am kinda pissy that Denmark doesn't have a team for this. Nice to see some good posts, though.
