I can understand how some extra features might only be available at a games home site or sponsored site, but i think it is a waist of time and space for armor games to host games that are locked entirely. I tried to play several games today and before even reaching a menu to play the game i see the message this game is locked go to "such and such website to play". I would think armor games wouldn't want to use its resources up on games that aren't even playable and are actually just adds for other gaming sites. Furthermore, having these games leads people away from armor games. I would think the idea of hosting games would be to attract people to you site rather than send them away.
I think i will send in a report next time i play one, but i really think someone should screen these games before they're released so we don't have to.

These issues always occurs after the game has been released in a playable state. Something happens some time later (usually when it's well off the front page) and then it's not playable.
Games like fantastic invention(?) and others I would not have heard of if they had not posted here in the first place, and besides, games like that can help keep other websites going, while still attracting people to this one in the hopes of discovering new games.

I know they can help other websites by why not just put in there logo on the preloader or title rather than directing people away from AG completely. That's not good for AG.

It may be a glitch, but I agree about one thing.. and that is the screening of the games, there is some serious spam games on this site sometimes
I'm going out on a limb by speaking for the mods here, don't judge me on this to harshly...
The games are indeed screened before they 'enter' AG, so nobody should bash up the admins for hosting games that are completely locked, since this almost surely happens to them after they accepted and approoved the game in question... just like Gantic said! I've seen this happen to me once, but I closed everything right away and neglected to report it to the admins, since I didn't think it was worth mentioning to them. I thought they knew about it and so it was of no use to report it... :S

I think the amount of people being attracted to AG is minimal, since the AG logo is not presented anywhere when you are on the other website... most gamers tend to look past the starting credits and therefor don't see the 'hosted by...' line presented and with that, they won't know where the game in question is from...
I think it's the best policy to 'ban' these games from AG, since they do more harm than good for the community count on AG!
Well, Gantic is a moderator and he already picked up the scent of this thread, so it's already noticed by AG... but it's the response I'm curious about...
Who will respond next? Gantic? Cenere? Carlie? Who wants to reply to this matter?
It'll probably be Gantic again I bet... My money's on him... =D
Oh, bullocks... LOL Ehm... Ce-neeeeere... could I byanychanceifatallpossibleandnottoomuchtrouble lend the money from you then to pay off my bookie? XD
Anyway, could you possibly give us some names?
Well, you would have to ask the other users in the thread about that... I'll try to come up with the name of the game in question I talked about, but like I said... when this sort of thing happens to me, I use my personal policy on it...

This happens sometimes when the developers update the game, and don't provide us with the most recent copy. The next time you see a game that says that, please contact me on my profile and I will see that the game is either fixed or removed, depending on what the situation calls for. But it normally only requires a quick update.
