What about this 'weird' thing happening... o_O

I got a comment on my profile from a friend... *YAY*

I wanted to write him a reply and for that I used my own messenger box above his message...
(mind you this is still while I'm on my own profile...)

When finished writing, I normally select the text I wrote,
I copy it, go to that friend's profile and paste it there in his messenger box,
then I click 'submit'... Et voila! And all is well... *bliss*

>!!!< But this time I mistakenly clicked the 'submit' button while I was still on my own profile! *whoops*

I didn't want that reply to be in my own messenger list, so I clicked on the 'trashcan' to delete it... *ba-bye*

But now I noticed this weird thing happening:

The reply-message wasn't deleted? Fine, leave it there, no problem! *shrugs*

But my AP's count didn't go down from 2599 to 2597 as it should?!
I thought 'since I deleted a 2AP's worth a comment'... *scratches head*

Instead my AP's count went down from 2599 to 2596... huh?! *glazed eyes*

Does anyone know what happened? Am I dreaming, or has the AP's-counter gone 'coo-coo'? :S

The comments are not deleted instantly, it takes a while. The time that it takes varies, it can be from some minutes to whole hours. Also very often the message you wanted to delete is really deleted, but it's still shown on your profile wall, you can say that's like some sort of ghost message.

The comments are not deleted instantly,

They are actually removed from the comments, but is kinda clinging like a ghost to the profile front page.
On the points, well, they will adjust. If not, three points is not much, and the two you get back when commenting on your friend's messenger.
...
And just saw Goumas pretty much said the same, even with the ghost, so...
If you comment on your own messenger again, or get others to do so, the ghost comment will no longer be displayed. Often that is the reason why it can take days.

Allright, thanx guys for clearing that up for me! =D

@ Cenere: I am not upset by loosing those three points (what's three points? *shrugs*), it's just that I thought the counter had gone nuts and was just randomingly adding or deleting points, that's all...

Guess this thread can be closed then? Thanx again! =)
