If you mean to change their equips, YES. If you have anything that boosts their skills beyond their current equipment, put it on them. For Roald, add strength and vita gear. Vera can have lots of builds. Strength will boost his melee damage and partially his heal, instinct boosts heal and shock damage, and vita boosts HP.
