Now this is a movie I would personly like to see. I have been awaiting a movie like this come out and one finaly will. This movie does have a few things that could be disscused.
An obvious change in the movie was the graphics. The movie looks a little creepy in a way and could be scary for young viewers. Do you think that the graphics and the 3D will make the movie alot better? Or will they over saturate the movie and take away fromthe movie?
Also something that you have to listen for is that this is supposed to be were Alice returns to Wonderland. So this is not a remake this is a sequel, or are they saying that she was there before but only in her immagination? (See if you notice?) I really don't get why this was nessecary yet. Later when I actually see the movie I will probably get it.
Also there is a White Queen in this version/sequel. Now this adds alot of potential but also if it is a remake then it dosen't make any sense. If this is a sequel then were was she in the first one!? The Red Queen was taking over the world from what i've seen from the previews. this could only be done if she was in the priginal. Now I haven't seen any knock offs because I really don't like them if I know im watching one (don't even ask).
So shall we discuss what we think the movie will be about and mabye even (not likely though) get the script.
Remakes of old good ones just make me hate new movies that keep going by that way of making them. Think of your own darn ideas for a movie script not stealing the ones from classic diseny ones. They must be so low on cash to care.
I really don't want to see this movie. I hate 3D movies because it's too distracting and unrealistic. Regular 2D movies actually seem more realistic to me, because of my strange vision. If it wasn't 3D, I would consider it, but the queen's head is disturbingly big, and that particular feature may just make this movie completely unwatchable for me.
I don't feel that it wouldn't be worth seeing at this point. Albeit I am a little skeptical, since I absolutely hated that previous Burton/Depp collaboration Charlie & the Chocolate Factory. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
It seems to me to be some odd melt down between Alice in Wonderland and Behind the Looking Glass, perhaps like the Disney animation movie was back when that came out, just with the plot focused on Behind the Looking Glass rather than Alice in Wonderland.
I really want to see Alice in Wonderland, it seems like a very unusual and grotesque movie. Probably it won't be extraordinary, but nonetheless it will be quite interesting.
Anyway, the graphics seem cool, and why the hell did Jhonny Depp decide on playing in a movie where he has too look extremely homosexual.
It's just his character and nothing to new about him. It's also the way the Mad Hatter is. A very odd character with wehat could be discribed as homosexual features. I think that the original cartoon version of the movie shows that the Mad Hatter would have a very wierd look if he wasn't drawn.
I think it is going to be good, I am going to see it this weekend. They took an old classic and made it into a new thrill. Also, it stars Johnny Depp, considering that it will be great.
