the ps2 was the best. take all the ps3's good games and all the 360's good games and you will get half of all the ps2's good games

PS2 was the best console last gen but this gen it has to be Xbox 360.
Although the nintendo consoles have always been very high up due to the family friendlyness. depends what you want from a console.

I'd go with the Xbox 360 and the PS3. Paradoxical isn't it? And I don't own either of them. The PC is the best (it's not a console though, mind you).
