Well, in Robin Hood's time I don't think socialism existed - so in his time he was flat out a thief. By today's standards he would still be considered a thief with socialistic beliefs.

people look at him as a hero, i think he was in those times, but taxing higher for the rich is sooo unfair. Scenario - you spent your whole life working hard and doing your best to gain money and education and suddenly the gov. says oh you have to pay more than the lazy scumbags that don't work hard, that is not fair or just, don't punish someone for being successful.

I get so pissed off at comments like these. I know a guy who has been working ever since he was able to work. I mean he has even lost fingers and shit. Now he is old (a grandparent) and sick, but he has to keep working or he will loose his healthcare (god bless America!). He aint rich, he doesnt have millions but he sure as shit isnt a lazy scumbag. &#*@$#*%$ you.

Scenario- You inherited a fortune and large company, you and your kids(and their kids, ect) will live in comfort for ever with relatively no work involved.

Yea I totally agree about during his time I'm sure there weren't any or at least very few socialists.
But he really wasn't a socialist, he Stole occasionally from the rich and gave to the poor.. He didn't significantly change the equality of the classes.
