The last huge pandemic was the first flu pandemic in 1912 (correct me if this date is wrong) and back then they didnt have a vaccine and it was really horrible because people were lining up in the hospitals. Now it may just be me but i think the next pandemic is coming soon. I think this because a lot of people i know are sick with the same symptoms, a couple of my friends 2 of my teachers and the dean of my school. also there was that thing about h1n1 swine flu going around. my school missed 3 days because some people were getting sick. now i want your opinion on this, weather its a local occurrence or a major thing (or all my imagination)
Sorry man, I was whole time thinking that you are talking about Pandemic 3 flash game
lol
One outbreak of Spanish Flu Killed 22 Million People. The Blubonic Plague took almost 200 Million Lives. No Vaccines or cures exist for either virus.
ok 1 THERE WERENT EVEN 200 MILLION PEOPLE IN THE 1300'S WHEN THE BLACK PLAUGE HAPPENED second thanks for the name of that flu i talked about in my form topic
The next major pandemic will be a bio something weapon.
that actually makes sense i agree that that COULD happen but it may be unlikely, maybe by like iran or something but idk if terrorists could do that on there own
I agree as well, biological warfare has for many years and will always be potential threat. A country could create a bio virus that could destroy the world's population. Hopefully noone is that dumb.
ok 1 THERE WERENT EVEN 200 MILLION PEOPLE IN THE 1300'S WHEN THE BLACK PLAUGE HAPPENED
It is estimated that there were about thrice that number.
The next pandemic, I don't know. The H1N1 didn't catch on... Though I think it's only a matter of time. That doesn't mean it could happen tomorrow, but there will always be pandemics as long as we're around.
HA! Swine flu, really? I got swine flu, let me tell, you... IT'S A FLU. No biggie, it's a little worse for kids, but hey, its fine, chicken pox is worse. I know a couple kids who had it, they just left school for 3-4 days, swine flu is nothing but your average flu, no prob.
