I was playing Modern Warfare 2 the other day with my brother watching TV in the other room. I heard a Bad Company 2 trailer turn on, so i remembered the game came out last week and went out and bought it. I instantly turned on the multiplayer.

GOD

I always loved MW2, but it is safe to say that with totally destructible environments, giant battlefields, a huge amount of weapons and customizable kits, a giant campaign, a large collection of vehicles, and Haggard, i say that EA has done a pretty good job of toppling the FPS empire that Infinity Ward has built up over the past two years.

disagree? please, a penny for your thoughts!

Yea.
And for supporting all that fluffy graphics you'll need a PC the size of a server.
Well played sir.
I want my penny too.

Apparently, you don't need a PC so outrageously powerful.

Bad Company 2 is probably the finest multiplyer experience I've had since it's predecessor Battlefield 2. The sound effects in the game make me drool, while the graphics have an equally "enriching" experience.

Logically speaking, BC2 has a more controlled organised and addictive multiplyer experience than MW2 and to a certain extent a better singleplayer too, but I'm not here to compare the two games, so I'd just add that BC2 is exactly what I anticipated - A complete and polished game.

totally destructible environments,

Definitely pretty cool, but the environment isn't 100% dynamic. There are plenty of structures you cannot destroy.

huge amount of weapons and customizable kits

I don't think there are many more than COD, and for most classes there are obvious choices, so it's pintless to try half of them out.

a giant campaign

It's takes about 6 hours to complete. That's not particularly giant in my book.

Even though cod is always the benchmark, they are very different games in many regards. I don't think it's fair to compare the two, since they're so different in so many ways.
