Halo 3 is popular because it does not get boring.

My friends and I will get bored of Call of Duty or some other game, so we will play Halo 3.

It is so much fun to play custom games with your friends it is a blast and everyone always has a good time. Sometimes my friends and I have a forge Cribs contest.

Halo 3 is not my favorite game but it is a great game to play when there is nothing else to play. It seems like there is just so much you can do on it that it never gets boring.

Ah yes DUck hunting, zombies, and other fun custom game stuff makes Halo extremely fun.

Halo 3 is the bomb. I love it ever since i got it, which was a couple years back. (including the other halo(s) ).

But sadly I've gotten the red ring...twice.

it got popular because its got polished game play the story line i really dont know where its been for the past 3. Solid multiplayer id rather play this then CoD sometimes

I believe that Halo 3 has a good multiplayer, which is one of its strong points and that is also one of the few reasons that it caught on with the people. Also, the storyline depicts the end of a long fought war. Now, how can that not be interesting?

I Would have to Say Halo 3 is one of the Most Interesting FPS out there. I have been a Big Fun sense The First Halo, Cant Wait for Halo: Reach. Halo suckz no one evr plays it anymore what are u talking about i went online and there was only like 2000 people on MW2 has stole them all sorry Bill Gates but u just got stoned by Infinity Ward (tm)

yeah it was a pretty awesome game, but yeah it does get boring, especially since bungie makes it that you need all the maps to play half the dam game types...
and iv had it since the release date

Its a sorta rebound game. Watch, as everyone plays modernwarfare two, eventually everyone will go back to halo. It always happens.

Custom maps and gametypes = Unlimited replay-value.

Multiplayer is great, but no matter how good it is, anyone gets bored to any MP after 2 years of playing, and the campaign, no matter how good the story is, is the same thing all over again.

MW2 is the best thing ever happened to halo 3 matchmaking: All of those squeaky British kids are now playing MW2 and the matching times are actually shorter than before because all search filters have been removed. What else anyone could have ever hoped for?

Mind you Halo 3 also has a fantastic story and musical score.
