we need a key reason why it work and it wouldn't be a spam center?

Explain to me how the Big Bang is recent news? Lol... Would sort of fit, but not really.

Many religious debates are over in WEPR which provokes scientific input thus producing arguments revolving around science.

Why would any suggested forum not become a spam centre? Spamming lies in the community's hands, and if we look at our other forums there is very little spam, so it would be a very safe bet that the Sports forum would not be spammed day and night.

It would actually be nice with actual science in the WEPR section. All I see is "GOD ISN'T REAL THERE'S NO EVIDENCE!" "GOD IS REAL BECAUSE YOU CAN'T DISPROVE IT!" "Communism is the new black!" "The US rules." and so on. Even the people who pretty much worship science is not very scientific.
/offtopic, because people were discussing it here for some reason when they have their own thread somewhere.

The Tavern is currently used for these kinds of threads, and those I have seen have had a hard time staying alive and keeping spam to a minimum ("Which sport is the best?!&quot. It would probably be interesting, but have a somewhat limited audience, because somewhat near 50 percent would be about tackleball (that would be football for Americans), and to be honest, there will be a bigger audience to that from the US side instead of the entire forum.
Other, more international, sports might get a bigger audience, but again, it already seems rather limited. A bit like the Sonny section was.

I think the Sonny Forum was something that had an expiring date placed on it the minute it was created... since it is a game that will soon be replaced by another (newer) game where people would be talking about in the forae.
Much like what happend with the Colony threads that got less intrest in them (can't say I cried over that) over time and died out...

With a Sports Forum and a Science Forum, I think we would be talking about something that's been going on ever since mankind in it's early stages (read neanderthal ages) was able to invent something (Science Forum) and the fact that mankind felt the need to compeed with others (Sports Forum), so there's a large basis for discussion here...

And that seems like something worth creating! After a thorough exploration of course...

I've had a bit of internal conflict thinking about this.

There was a football thread a while back but only 4 people ever used it. I'm not sure whether having a more dedicated place to put it would help sports threads survive any better. Most are either way too borad (best sport?) or too narrow (d'ya see that game last weekend) either way they burn out pretty quickly most times. If a sports section was made it could help improve the quality of the thread (yay) or it might just fail I dunno lol

There needs to be a Sports forum so all the sports fans good get on and talk.

it would be so awesome if there was a sports fourm it makes no sence to me y there isn't

they dont add sports forum bacase this is a gaming site, not a sport forum site.

True, but so would a forum for many topics.

If you ask me: Yes it is... and so is a Science/History Forum!

But there aren't many topics as big as sport....

if the sports forum fails what harm would it do? just try it out and if it works great and if it fails take a few minutes to get rid of it.

if you delete a forum everyone keeps their AP right? that is the only question i have on this
