Yeah, I think listening to death metal has ruined your sense of enjoying listening to singing voices. Some good genres to listen to if you want to hear good voices are soft rock and Motown.

That's sorta weird. I like them about the same, but i think a song cant be a song without instruments AND singing

instrumentals are good, but can be improved upon if you add a good singer to the song.
