Not a real game, but I thought it would be cool. Here's some of my ideas:

Village = Central Base
Magic School = Forge
Sorcery School = Manufactory
Arcane University = Mechanics Terminal
Counting House = Bank
Royal Mint = Treasury
Furnace = Generator
Dragon Vault = Solar Grid
Apothecary = Hospital
Alchemist's = War Sanctum
Church = Special Ops
Gatehouse = Outpost
Barracks = Barracks
Castle = Arsenal
Inn = Armoury

Resources

£ = $ (Produced from Counting House/Royal Mint)
Fire = Power (Produced from Furnace/Dragon Vault
Manpower = Manpower (Produced from Apothecary/Alchemist's)
Faith = Influence (Produced from Church)

Units

Warrior = Marine (Melee)
Knight = Chronite Tank (Melee)
Sorcerer = A25 Ronan
Griffin = Scout
Archer = Sniper
War Dogs = Groditz (Melee)
Trebuchet = Sakata Mk II
Wyrven = Phantom

Wyrven

Type: Air

Fire Type: Flame
Damage: 10
Fire Rate: Once per 1.5 seconds
Range: Inbetween a third and a quarter of the screen
Speed: Fast
Cost: 12 Fire, $2
Production Time: 3 seconds.

The standard all purpose air unit. Good against heavily armoured targets, weak against villages and light targets.

Type: Arch Warlock
Armor: Magic
Health: 300
Builds From: Arcane University
Fire Type: Magic Blasts
Damage: 33
Fire Rate: Three times every two seconds
Range: 1/3 of the screen
Speed: Very Slow
Cost: 12 Manpower, 80 Fire
Production Time: 30 Seconds

A very powerful unit, but extremely expensive and slow.

Type: Demon
Armor: Infantry
Health: 10
Builds From: Magic School
Fire Type: Melee
Damage: 5000
Fire Rate: Infinite
Range: Melee
Speed: 1% of battlefield/second
Cost: 120 Fire
Production Time: 0.00001 Seconds

Ranged units will slaughter these, as will air.

Ok, colony medieval would fit the armorgames theme
I mean, regular colony was futuristic, so having a medieval version of the game would make it unique

Upgrade Spell Gunner C

Range: LongBowman
Speed: Fast
Production Time: 20 Seconds

Fire Type: Rocks
Damage: Ranged - 15, Melee - 8, Can't hit air
Fire Rate: Ranged - one per three seconds, Melee - one per second
Range: Up to half of screen
Speed: Horrendously slow
Cost: 500 Faith
Production Time: 24 seconds

Super slow, takes super long to produce and a lot of cost, but has a crapload of life and survives well as a tank.
