I say there is a God, due to the world around us. This is going to be a super spamming forum, but ohh well. I believe in christianity, and I believe in a heaven and a hell. I do have differing beliefs of hell (rather than the bibles version), I am with dante. There are multiple layers and the last layer is ice, the freezing ice that you will be chained up in for all eternity, while your body freezes, but doesn't freeze to death. This is my belief on hell, also.

Could you explain this part? I don't really understand it.

And in case you're wondering, I don't currently believe in God. But I am open to other ideas and beliefs.

If you guys don't know my stance by now you haven't been paying attention.

Is there anything to discuss here or is this just to say what we believe?

Until there is proof, there is no reason to believe in a God besides for blind hope, which is pointless.

By what I stated I meant that the cosmos around us didn't just pop up. There is a God, some believe it is active in the world (Christianity), and others believed that it created then lost interest. Plato believed that the Demiurge created the world and left it alone, to let an action occur so that an equal and opposite reaction would occur. (Newton) This is what I meant.

We all know your stance in this arguement, I do believe this is just a spamming debate forum, people leave their comments, and others spam to argue with it.

If the cosmos can't pop up, how did a god pop up?

There's no evidence to suggest that "God did it". As such we can't reasonably come to that conclusion.

God didn't God was always here, I don't get it, but God was.

There's no 100% accurate evidence of evolution or any other theory. So noone know's how it was created, you just believe what you want.

Until substantial, legitimate, irrefutable proof of a higher being exists, my current view stands as there is no God.

By that reasoning you should conclude nothing is real. I'm speaking in probabilities not absolutes.

To believe in something that has no evidence and claim it's equal or better then the thing that does have evidence is just ignorance or stupidity.

There are plenty of threads with themes similar to this, the OP is written in a way that can/will lead to spam, and isn't good for discussion (sounds more like a poll).
Besides, there is always going to be stupid arguments, because half the people here act like positivists.
