Well, I don't quite feel he is a poser. I mean you can't really seem to find him flaunting his muscles in his perfectly dark cave can you?
Seriously though, if Batman was a poser, then it would be hard to describe Superman.
Mr. Bat is just an ordinary man like us. By which I'm implying that he was born on earth, was never bitten by a radioactive spider nor did cosmic particles hurtle through his body to change its structure.
Like any other ordinary person he goes about his job. It's in the night when the actual shift occurs, which is more or less believable. Also, I feel most of us relate to him more than other superhero.
Superman is lame he is way OP. Batman isn't a poser he isnt even a superhero, just a regular guy with money to burn on bat suits. Spiderman is the real poser, have you seen the way he poses for pictures for the daily bugle?
I disagree, I believe Batman is a true superhero. He could be someone of everyday life, helping to help, not for stardom. He's my favorite superhero also.
there was a Team America (or whichever multi-super hero saturday comic) about this. Only the super heros with powers were being abducted, and so Batman and Green Arrow n all got everything shoved in their faces. I'm pretty sure it ended with the ones with real powers doing all the real work.
Batman's just a rich guy who likes directly helping people in no way doing it through businesses that will steal half the money anyways, so yes he is a superhero. Most rich people do the above or just don't care.

I don't quite get your point German3945, are you trying to imply that Batman is just another rich Samaritan who helps people out of the goodness of his heart or is it that he has a more relevant reason to assist people, which makes him a hero (if not a superhero).
