About an hour ago i got off the bus from school thanking the world that is was friday and i could spend the whole weekend gaming. Then when i was crossing the park near my house a group of boys, they come from my school arch-enemy school. Our greatest and hated enemys. So it's natural for anyone from my school, CCG ( Christ Church Grammer School ) to hate a boy from CBC ( City Bum Cleaners, Lol... ) and same for the CBC boys, they hate the CCG's... think of it as rival gangs. Sometimes the CBC's will sneak into our school and vanderlize and break into lockers and mess them up or even steal things ). So yeah.
Naturally, as a CCG boy i was exspected to hate a CBC. I had many friends from primary who went to CBC. Ever since i've gone to CCG i've hated CBC and it's boys, except my friends who go to CBC. ANYWAY NOW THAT I'VE EXSPLAINED THE RIVARY THING:
So i walking past the park when i saw some CBC boys. In front of me was this boy who went to this other school. the CBC boys were walking towards the boy in front of me when one CBC boy said " No wait, this one, he's a Christ Church boy ".
So there i was, 12 CBC boys all walking towards me. They stopped in front of me. the CBC boys and i were right in front of me. Suddenly out of nowhere one of the boys grabbed my bag and pushed me over.
Then i went totally Ninja and fended off 5 of them. Just remember that i'm a Year 8 Verusing 12 Year 11's. Then i took out what i guess to be their leader as he kept on telling all the boys to beat me up.
So i ran up to this leader and jumped up into the air and kicked him in the chest. He fell down and all the CBC boys walked away. Past me. They sweared heaps as the left but the main point is that they left.

Now, here's my question, how can i avoid this from happening again?
Kicking the shin, elbowing the underside of the jaw, the throat (any hit against the throat can be potentially deadly if delivered correctly), punching towards the nose or temple... Any soft tissue is a good target.
Not having a rivalry with each other would work too.
a shinkick to the knee is a retardedly useless move. unless you've spent your life doing karate body strength training, their knee is stronger than your shin. and just so you know *GASP* people don't always have their knees locked, and when they don't, a kick isn't going to lock and break it.
I don't care how many fighting moves you read about, the only way you can take on 12 people your size (let alone significantly larger) is to be a blackbelt, and probably one that's advanced in blackbelt rank on top of that.
To address everyone talking about all these moves: Ha. What ya need to do is get yourself a cast iron fence pole, or a tire iron, or a crow bar, or some homemade weapon/home item turned weapon. What you REALLY need is a developed frontal lobe that tells you to run.
We're still talking about this? I guess it's still a hot topic.
Why didn't he just kill the bullies? It would've solved those particular problems, and he'd still be alive.
You do remember Columbine and Virgina Tech right? Well, when the bullied kids do decide to take vengeance on their tormentors, they know they don't have the numbers game on their side.
Thus, they use weapons. Which in the end results in them being shamed, shot, or pretty much put away for life, while the very same people who the 'shooter' wanted to kill, end up becoming somewhat idolized.
Now, not all of them are like this, and there is concern and respect to the fallen and their families. But I'm trying to say is, killing the bullies won't get you anywhere but in a grave or a six by six cell, with big Bubba.
Sure you can fight them off, and maybe even show them up a little, once they know not to mess with you, they'll in most cases lay down their 'weapons'. (In most cases, not all)

Yrs, unless you wanna break your opponent knee. The knee is not that strong; this is the reason why in almost all fighting competition is strictly forbidden to hit the knee, it's a move that can get you banned from the tournaments, for the extreme high danger of breaking your opponent's knee. Go check some tournament rule: almost all martial arts have forbidden striking the knee.
Chances are you aren't going to hit the knee in a way that's going to break it, and even if you do, this would hurt your shin so goddamn much you'd be limping.
And if it doesn't make you limp too much, a strong attack like that will slow you down and then the other 11 will get you in multi-person holds, beat you up, throw you on the ground, stomp on you, etc.
