You should't make an acceptable game just for armor points. It takes a lot of time and diligence to learn game programming, and even more to make a good game. Here's some math: 1 game = 1 month (minimum) = 20 AP, while 1 post = 1 minute = 1 AP. It takes a lot of time to make a single game, and it's not that rewarding in terms of AP. On the other hand, posting actively will do more good for you.
Most game developers don't make games for armor points. They work for cold hard cash. It's a pretty serious business, and AP is definitely not what game programmers aim for.
If you really want to get points, then post a lot on our forums and contribute meaningfully.
