Ok so I'm just asking the world a little help with my speech that i have to do in front of the whole class. Everybody in my class has to do the speech too so it isn't just me. Well i need help looking for a good topic to talk about and the speech cannot be shorter than 2min and longer than 3min. I was thinking about talking about " are zombies real?" for my topic but i feel like i need a more interesting topic so that everyone or atleast half of my class would think thats its interesting. Its for a grade and its not optional which if it was optional i wouldn't do it at all but oh well too bad. Anyways, all i'm really asking is for a good and i mean good topic to write about. Its due on Tuesday so i really got like 3-4 days left to write it down.
P.S. If the topic "Are zombies real" is good enough to write about then just say so.

Unless you can find any proof that zombies are in fact real, it's not a good topic to write about. What would you base your speech on if you have no proof supporting your topic? I'd choose a new topic unless you can find enough reported occurences of zombies that you believe are actually "real" rather than just crazy people seeing things.
You can pull this off, if you were to actually write about it. Where as, you push for the Zombie Survival Guide type of satire.
You, yourself have to try and convince the class that Zombies are real. Don't just ask them if their real. Go out, and do some research, and even if the facts say they are not, rework the facts so they fit your beliefs.
Mid eighteenth century animal attacking, turn those into an outbreak that was resolved. Make this speech as real as it can get, without being fake.

I don't think i can find proof. I write stories about zombies alot so i'm thinking that it isn't really gonna be interesting at all but it could make them laugh if a little humor was put in it.

Please tell me how you expect to pull that off. There is no proof that they are real, so you can't exactly convince them all just like that, unless they're all real boneheads.
I don't think i can find proof.
In that case, choose a new topic that you can find proof for. A subject without proof cannot be used to convince anyone, unless they're highly gullible.
well i think that "are zombies real?" is a bad topic because there is no real "facts" about them. sure there are idea of how they are made but everyone with any sense knows they are just in the movies.
watch the world news one night and get a topic from that. such as, doing something Africa, Haiti, Chili, all those earth quakes that are going on. Something like that is what i would do.
or you could write your paper about 2012. Hope this helped( :
You should base your topic off of the slow downward spiral of humanity's self respect and decency due to the quick modernization of the world, and the overspecialization of every living being well as the general steriotypiclization of our teenage children in social and school yard situations. Ummmmm... perhaps you could also state your view on the current condition of our country's economy and the quick destabilization of rural areas and urban community's in every constant form of the world. ... Or.. Zombies.
Well i read my paper to the class. Too bad i didnt win 1st, 2nd or 3rd place. It was about 2012 and skydiving at the same time. The class laughed alot and said it was great but i read to fast and i guess i didn't even made it up to 2min so thanks for all the people who helped me with the ideas.

There IS proof of zombies. There was an article published recently in a magazine my school gets and the article was all about zombies.
PS: the name of the magazine was (I think) current science.
My personal suggestion would be to do "Life On Other Planets", because there's tons of data and information, and you can also claim that all the stories are myths and the like then disprove them. ( depending on whichever side you are presenting) it would seem a good topic, and would keep some students interested.(don't forget to end with a thank you, or a quesion, you'll get good points)
