Its really amazing how far we've come in tecnology. In this video velow now a blind man can actually make out shapes and words by looking at them. Thanks to his new eye glasses. I think its only a test but imagine how far it could go if they work beyond this.

I wonder if they will make eye glasses that can make a vision of a near-sighted person like one of let's say, a bird of prey.

Would be pretty useful.
Technology that could aid our senses would be very useful.

You know, giving that kind of vision to anyone probably isn't a very good idea . . . .

This is pretty cool. Hopefully they can create something that can actually make us 'see' with the camera as our eyes.

Hook it up to the brain and we're ready to go type thing.

It came on the news here yesterday.

Though the only catch to that, is that he is making out the things he sees, with his tongue. His tongue. Nevertheless, this is a good achievement.

This is what you call bionics. I have to say that this field of technology is very exciting. The possible applications would benefit us greatly. You know what I'm talking about.

Ha, that would take many many many years. Beyond our lifetimes.

Wow, I am amazed too. That is just incredible. I can't beleve it. If you become blind like today, then you could still see some things with all of the technology.
