While I was on a forum for a different website's forums I noticed you could make polls, I found this really cool and I thought maybe Armor Games could make something like it.

Like you and a lot of other people, I would love to see some more features with AG. Sadly, the developers have been busy with other things especially site optimization and solutions to the lag.....
knight beat me to it. One reason AG dosen't have all of the things that other sites have is that they have to keep up with all the games that are on the site too. I would like it if AG had a lot more simple features that most sites have.
no. You guys are wrong. It's not cause they have no time (well maybe it is), it's because of this:
People will only want to vote on the poll and not give a reason why or even leave a comment on the thread, so, u will see a lot of threads with like 30 000 votes and 2 posts.
No one will even use the forum as it is anymore, and all the threads will be polls.
I agree with loloynage2 on this... the forum needs to stay 'healthy' the way it is right now! Otherwise one of the best parts of this original gaming website will be lost... o_O

You might not see it, but it's there (We think)...
If you guys want a poll, make one in Excel, export it as an image, upload it to a provider and put it here. Your problem is solved.

Well, to make an argument against this Yodadude53...
I run the 'CRBWC' (Classic Rock Bands World Cup) -thread and when I see people post in it, they make a post with two (required) items in it:
-Who they vote for and -Why they vote for that band
So taking my thread as an example, all this poll would add to it, would be a 'nice picture' that is making a visual presentation of the current voting situation in the thread...
So, in my opinion, it's something not needed here on AG... PLUS... it would create extra lag with loading of the pages of Armor Games... almost forgot that!

True, and you could simply make a poll on another site (Or Excel and export to image) and then show it here. It saves space on AG, less coding and everyone has what they want (Albeit in a different way).

Theoretically everything causes lag. SO it can't be used as an excuse I find.
I have to point out the contradiction in your statements... sorry...
You say that 'it saves space on AG', but on the other hand you say 'everything causes lag, so it can't be used as an excuse'... this points out the fact that it actually CAN be used as an excuse by AG for not implementing such feature on AG...
Like I said, not needed in my opinion, simply because:
-it has no extra fundamental addition of use to the AG website; -it creates extra unneeded lag to the AG website;
and like you said:
-it can be made for personal use on your own pc and placed on another website...
How dare you! Lol... Maybe I said it wrong or you don't understand:
When the picture is uploaded on another provider, it has nothing to do with AG. The picture is implemented on the site through HTML or some other language, but does not take space on the AG servers (Only the HTML, which is very small, does).
Therefore, uploading to another provider and BB coding it here will take less room on AG servers, and make less lag.
People will only want to vote on the poll and not give a reason why or even leave a comment on the thread, so, u will see a lot of threads with like 30 000 votes and 2 posts.
No one will even use the forum as it is anymore, and all the threads will be polls.
That's actually really unlikely. More likely is a lot of spam replies stating what they voted for...
But anywho. Thread of common suggestions. The usual.
