You get Microsoft points by going to stores like Wal-Mart and buying them.
You can only get Gamerscore by getting achievements. Some game's achivements are easier than others, but you're just gonna have to play them and find out. For example, Final Fantasy 11 has the absolute hardest achievements, while Marvel Ultimate Aliance has some of the easiest.
You go to the Marketplace by going on Xbox Live. Then, you go on Games Marketplace, Videos Marketplace, Music Marketplace, or Pictures Marketplace on the Xbox Dashboard.

Well i cant help very much here cus i dont have the xbox360 console yet. I dont know if i will get one either cus i all ready have the ps3 slim with 250gb hardrive. So i will be happy with what i got.
