Whats going on everyone, I just wanted to reach out to this community with a game I have been playing for a very long time, and unfortunately after around 14 years the game is slowly dying. Anyways I wonât lie and say it is extremely high tech or anything like that, the graphics are outdated but it makes up for that in spades with amazing gameplay, a multitude of player made custom zones, and a great chat feature, and seasonal squad leagues in nearly every zone that pits squads vs squads. The game was originally released as Sniper, and it was one of if not the first online multiplayer games that included graphics (and not ANSI like MUDâs). The game wasnât doing to well so our games founder Priitk who later went on to code programs like Kazaa and Skype cracked the code, added some anti cheating programs, a fairly sophisticated ban program called BANG and added some functionality. It became pretty popular with around 2000-3000 players on at any given time, and now we are down to around 500-700 if that.
The game would probably cater to the people who grew up playing NES and SNES games and can enjoy a game without top of the line graphics, and who enjoy competitive leagues, and small communities where you actually get to know the people you are playing with instead of meeting up with completely new and random people every time you enter the game. There arenât any bot ran quests, and there are staffers who host a ton of user created events every day. Everything from 2d spaceship hockey, zombies, deathmatches etc etc etc.
I know this sounds like a pretty pathetic ad attempt for the game and it is, I would hate to see it die after all the work I and so many others have put into making the game itself, and the zone I play in better. Check it out if you want, it is only a 5-7mb download, and you can play it on dialup (since that was the only connection available at the time)

Oh, I also forgot to mention that this is a very user ran game (bot dev and site dev), anyone who needs some experience working on websites or working on bots is more than welcome to come give us a hand and maybe learn a thing or two from our current bot dev and site dev teams.
