I peronally love seeing zombies heads flying everywhere and people getting killed(especailly doom and i am legend, those were awesome. plus vampire movies are really old and stupid.
Zombie movies. Zombies aren't wussies like vampires. And there are more of them, which means big massacre scenes ^^ and there is more suspense because people seem to get infected by zombies much faster and more easy than through a vampire.
Zombie movies, no doubt from me. I can never resist one when I see it channel surfing, they are just so awesome! The plot may be basically the same for each one, but It includes guns and death and fighting! On a side note, Twilight has probably tainted many people's views on vampire movies.
You know the sad thing about Twilight is my wife has the books and I've actually read them. They are surprisingly well written and engrossing books. However after seeing the first movie I was horribly disappointed.
Have you read the books? I never said that the twists and liberties taken with traditional vampire stories was something I liked or agreed with. I simply said that the books were well written and engrossing. The novels have a good pacing, the dialogue is fitting to the theme, and the author does an excellent job pulling the reader into her world. While I disagree with much of what she did with the common myths surrounding vampires and werewolves, I cannot say that the novels were not well written simply because of that.

This is true. There are quite a few instances where I was kind of scratching my head and checking previous chapters, but still it was a well written book. Perhaps because I just had such low expectations of it due to all the preteen hype, but I was quite surprised. Really though I think the best part about it was the depth of the characters and the way she described the world in which the events were taking place. She gave it enough detail that I could easily envision what she was writing, but at the same time she kept the pacing going and I wasn't stuck reading page after page of metaphors and descriptors.
Zombies. IAmLegend and Resident evil are the bomb, and the on the vampire's side, you have twilight. But then again, the vampire's assistant was really good... still zombie movies
