Welcome to the new Draw that Pokemon!

The old thread was getting quite long, and burdened by Estel decided to make it MS Paint only. We eventually made it all art programs, however it then made the title verrrryyy lonnngggg.

So, this is the brand new fresh clean wiped clear thread, with some ubertastic new rules (basically same as last time)!

Rules:

The pictures must be somehow related to the theme, which is a Pokemon, and must conist mainly of that one. Other pokemon can be included, however it will be the theme pokemon that will be judged.

The pictures must be appropriate, so no Pokefurryness or I herd yu liek mudkipz graphic references.

The prize at the end of each round will be to pick the theme of the next round. There will be no merit prize unless otherwise stated.

Any art program may be used.

Lineart is accepted, as long as it is clearly different to the original drawing. It may be helpful to link to the reference image. However, on this note, entries that are more original and different to the common poses may be likely to do better at judging. BE ORIGINAL!

Please do not copy the drawings of anyone else, as this is plaugerism and is ILLEGAL! If you do so you will be immediately disqualified and futher action may be taken by the Mods. However, if you believe that a picture is copied, please do not make a fuss of it in the thread - instead post a comment on either my profile, Cenere's or Zophia's (as they are the two moderators who frequent this contest most).

Please do not bug the judge about when the judging will be, as this is extremely annoying - and it will turn up eventually, but you must remember that judges do have lives...

If the winner of the previous contest does not post a new theme within FOUR days, then a new one will be chosen by the judge.

I had to read to figure out it was a Mime and How To Train Your Dragon (I have to watch that movie... Except it's in Spanish here). What's with the letters in the background? Is it a draft (Oh no, just to finish the puddle off)?

All I had around me was a piece of blue paper (that is actually there for writing what money you have spend for your budget, hence the text), a pencil that wasn't sharp and I couldn't find a pencil sharpener, a regular pen and I got to borrow my sister's colour pencil that contained only a few basic colours.
So it was a somewhat - improvised job. But not a scrap, no, just... Speshul.

Sorry about the delays, I really should have got it done last Monday...but I procrastinate and yeah. So sorry! One of these days I'll get it judged on time...

Let's get right into it!

Champion's Exhibit - Hectichermit

A good entry once again. The COlours look quite good (I'm colourblind though...) and it looks quite evil. It looks like it wants to eat my soul actually...

The fingers are odd though...

First Place - kacboy

QUite a good entry, with a unique style of colouring that reminds me of a three year old's drawing. Yes, you didn't colour inside the lines. Which oddly makes it look quite effeffective.

The expression is priceless, although it makes me wonder if it is alive or not...

Second Place - Cenere

First of all I would have to say that I LOVE that movie, saw it the other day in 3D and was like 'nawwwwww.' It looks really good, and you have integrated Mr Mime into it really well.

I agree with you, it is terrifying.

Third Place - Unlimitedpower

Although this entry is a bit blurry and therefore hurts my eyes, it is very well drawn. The shading is done pretty good too!

Unsure if the limbs are facing th right way, but that doesn't really matter. Keep up the good work.

A good entry once again Zega. Actually I can't remember a round when you haven't entered!

This one, however, has a little too many straight lines and the fingers look a bit odd. I can see that your drawing style is definitely improving!

The Awesomeface Award - GuitarHeroFTW

Gotta love that face, I actually have a picture of me where I am doing that face pretty goodly!

Your entry is drawn well, however using the face brought up some criticism and it may be easier in future if you make obvious differences between your entries and other images.

The Showing Promise Award - Zophia

This is quite a nice entry, however sadly it is unfinished. I know what it is like to try and get things done, things just don't seem to go the way you plan and you

The Box Paradigm Award - LiveInPeace29

This doesn't really look like MrMime, however I can't be entirely sure. And is the box real or not? It could actually be just a box which MrMime created.

Maybe in future make your entries look more like the pokemon?
