If youâre looking for one of these (and yes, I know it is kind of a specific niche), I finally found one I like. Itâs called Estiah and as far as I can tell it is an indie game developed by a couple of ex-WoW players.

Some thoughts:

1) It is action point based, so this is a âplay a little bit each dayâ game.
2) Very solid sense of progression: attributes, skills, levels, the whole nine yards.
3) PvP and PvE combat is decided by cards selected at random from a deck you specify. Strategy lies in picking your deck since you canât affect things once the battle is initiated.
4) Some player interaction in the form of raids, group PvP battles, and guild battles.
5) This is a surprisingly deep game. If you have a short attention span, you have been warned.
6) It is well and truly free. They take donations, but you canât pay money to get an advantage over other players.

Anyway, I highly recommend it, although it is a little deeper than your average flash game. If you want to go to the main website, it is estiah.com. If you are feeling generous, you can pick me (Freyajack) as your mentor and Iâll help you out in the early game â" http://www.estiah.com/user/register/index/id/64857

Incidentally, if people know of other games like this, please let me know.

Gah, either my browser or this forum hates me. And I can't figure out how to edit my post. Let me try again:
