Amazingly, in respect to Google over the years, Topeka, Kansas has agreed to chan their name to Google, Kansas. We're not sure how much Google gave Topeka, but were sure it's a lot.

WOW!
I just learned that in respect to Kansas, Google is changing their name to Topeka. This is amazing sign of charity from Google! We're not sure if YouTube will be back to normal though, after the stupid change in layout.

This is Amazing and will change the lives of everyone. All the way to parents thinking Topeka is a porn search engine! Enjoy!

Topeka is trying to secure a broadband contract from Google. That is one reason why they (jokingly?) renamed the city. Well the mayor did. And it isn't really official.

Topeka is trying to secure a broadband contract from Google. That is one reason why they (jokingly?) renamed the city. Well the mayor did. And it isn't really official.

Topeka pulled that stunt a month ago to attract Google's attention. Google is bringing out Fiber internet and cities are bidding to get their hands on extremely fast internet. BTW, Topeka renamed itself ToPikachu ten years ago.
