I'm not sure if this has been tried before, or if it will even work. But I think it's an interesting idea and I think it'll be fun...
Remember, I don't typically do this, so I might not be doing it very well, but I'm trying...

So, this is basically an rpg. But unlike other rpgs on this site, it doesn't require fixed players or someone to control the story. There is no character sheet, and results are based solely on decisions and not stats or items.

You post a situation (not a multiple choice) based on the post of the player above you. Their (and your) post will contain a answer to the situation posed by the player above them, the results (be sure to include negative results too), a little bit of the story after that, and their own situation. For example:

Post 1: There was a man named John. He had magic powers and was in a special school to develop them. One day the principle called him to come to his office, and John went. When he walked in the principle said:

Post 2: "I need your help. The magic barrier holding back the dragons has fallen, and we need all the best students and teachers to help."
You say "No way, I want to live!"
The principle looks at you, opens his mouth, and says

Post 3: "I'm sorry. But you have to." Two men come out of the shadows and hold you down while the principle injects you with a sedative. You wake up in a:

Etc...

Rules.)

Try to keep to the story. If it's a serious one, stay serious. If it's a funny, goofy, silly one then you stay funny, goofy and silly.

You can end the story if you want, but be prepared write a long ending and then the beginning to a new story. Try not to do so very often.

So, the next person who posts starts the story, because I don't have the time right now.
