I have a psychological character and i am really stack in the fight with Baron. He has 48k Hp and i only manage to make about 15k damage before we die.. What can i do??
All u have to do is use that power that decreases his mana. If you noticed before, he uses a power that deducts health for mana. Just repeat this process so he pretty much just kills himself
mana is from snji (however u spel it) take out his focus when he hits 0 he loses lots of helth but when he has about 4,000 hp left attack becase he dosent lose any more hp from redust focus
My biological one has a move to attack his focus, lowering it. I forgot which one, since I don't remember moves in a game that I haven't played for some time.
His weakness? I forgot which one, but as mentioned above it has something to do with focus
Easy, beat him in 15 mins too. Just use lvl 2 disrupt, which takes his focus to 0. He then uses an ability that regens his focus, but deals lots of damage to himself. Simply wait till the buff is gone, then use disrupt again.
ok i realize this isnt the easiest strat to killing the baron, but if ur using a biological toon , you should spec into the predator form with agile exposure and savagry, full points in all. When you have this, just jump into pred form and toss exposure on the baron then follow up with a destroy and you'll hit like around 2k, give or take a few hundred. I realize this isnt the fastest way to killing the baron but when u get closer to his death, (15k-0 hp), he gets a random debuff which i think comes from roald which makes the baron takes extra damage from all attacks. Basically, ive hit 11k with destroy, agile exposure and this random debuff. If ur like me and you feel all strong when ur toon hits this hard, then you shoyuld deffinatly take the time and do it this way. Its not the most strategic way but it still works, just make sure u have veradux with as much instinct as possible so he can heal the crap out of youre party
If so, use the traumatize/haunt thingy to get him down to 0 focus, and then just implosion him.
Traumatize and haunt don't get rid of his focus quickly though, so you'd need to tank his attacks...put Roald on defensive so he'll use his stun attack more...traumatize does stun him.
I haven't played in a while so I'm not sure where implosion is in the tree and whether you need overdrive for it--if you can't get it by the baron I suppose don't use it.
I think it doesn't have any other reqs though, just level...10?
When the baron gets to ~half his health, he'll start using holy scars on himself and take lots of damage...a very quicky way to end this now is to just take away his focus again, he'll hit himself for...a lot of DoT. Implosion if you can aaaand...he's pretty much dead.
