Not sure how many have heard of this but over the last few days a massive revolution has occurred in Kyrgyzstan with the government being very close to being overthrown. Both sides are claiming to have control of the government and the whole situation is very edgy.

Reasons it matters.
1. Important US military base.
2. Could show Russia anger at US in their sphere of influence.
3. What do you think?

I wouldn't consider it a massive revolution. It was rather a coup.

I'm just wondering who the opposition is. I don't think any of the sources gave the reason for the revolts or what group led the coup.

Yup, not a massive revolution in which it regards much of the global powers. But, that being said, the US has many Military bases around the world, this one obviously is like all the others, where revolutions and civil unrest has occurred.

Russia cannot simply get angry at the US without a real reason, for they know better. Sure they may try and point fingers, but that's all it'll come to.

Remember the civil unrest in Iran? Yeah, that was all over the news, now where is the coverage? Nowhere. It will blow over eventually and the media will stop hounding it for dead bodies to air on the news.

Wow, there is a state named Kyrgyzstan?
I want one called Wexxixistan.
And I don't think it's something serious.
