Well, due to recent altercations I had to say bye-bye to AG for a week. This is a time when users are supposed to go back and reflect on their wrong doings and decide how to change things for the better. Of course, I did nothing wrong whatsoever, unless treating every person on this planet as an equal is a crime, in that case I am guilty as charged. Oh, also, I didn't realise that quoting someone while supplying all used sources and clearly using ellipses and brackets in order to show any alterations was against the rules, but that's another story. Fact is, I was off of AG for a week, and one can only watch so much Bill O'Reilly (Which in my case, is a lot). So anyways, if you find yourself banned and with nothing to do, why don't you take a gander at...

Coping With Bans: A 7 Day Activity Guide
By: Tony Alesalt

Day One:

Day one is probably the easiest. You don't really care that you were banned because you're still laughing at how awesome what you did was that you really don't care about whether or not you were banned, it was totally worth it. I just watched Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck while chuckling to myself. Easy.

Day Two:

At this point the novelty of what you did has worn off, seeing as the offending post(s) have been locked/deleted and it's no longer getting any attention. This is when you start feeling that the ban is undeserved. Still, not too hard to occupy yourself. I had to work, so that was an easy out for this day. I guess you could watch more TV or jerk off or something. Try to refrain from even checking AG, this will just make withdrawal harder for you. Side Note: I think a ban system should be implemented where you are unbanned once people stop talking about what you did.

Day Three:

Day three is where it starts going downhill. I joined like 3 new forums at this point. I also watched significantly more TV than I usually do, which seemed to help. For me day three was a weekend, which is unfortunate because school days are far easier to get by.

Day Four:

Now it's getting serious. The mods still haven't realised that they wrongfully banned you. Looks like you're going to have to wait it out. It was at this point where I actually decided to talk to people at school. This yielded few results, but if you pretend they're talking to you when they're talking to someone else, it's almost as if you have friends. Stay after school and hang out with your new friends. This will keep you away from the computer and help you forget about AG.

Day Five:

Continue to hang out with friends. I also started playing guitar and piano, just more distractors to keep you away from the computer. If any time is spent at the computer it should be devoted to watching TV shows and looking at cute pictures of kittens. Nothing lightens the mood like cute kitties with poorly spelled phrases encircling them.

Day Six:

If you have successfully avoided AG up until now it should get easy by this point. Just repeat what you've been doing up until now and go to bed early, you're getting unbanned tomorrow!

Day Seven:

Nearly there. At this point you won't be thinking about AG until you get home, which will probably be 1-2 hours later than usual, due to the fact that you actually talk to people after class now. Once you get home begin thinking up a super awesome thread that you'll post right as you're unbanned to make everyone happy that you're back and get mad at the mods for robbing them of your presence. Now just wait until your ban stops (probably late at night) then post your thread. Now simply wait for people to praise your awesomeness. Just make sure that your thread isn't about what you did while you were banned. Nobody cares and they've moved on. Try reading around and posting something that's relevant to the new weekly craze. Posting a thread about yourself will just make you seem narcissistic and people probably won't read it or post in it, seeing as it's stupid and boring. Seriously, you're not all that.

You again? Nice, you changed the guide theme.

I sorta had a feeling you were banned.

I think he implied he was banned. Or maybe not, I could be wrong.

Lol, funny guide. I could imagine someone doing this, though not as a guide.

why is it that you're always the only one who doesn't understand what I'm saying? I meant because he was gone for so long, not because he just said it right now.

Well, somebody's 7-day ban clearly got to them for its duration. I'm glad to see that OP has kicked off with a far more benign post: it almost makes me want to conclude that the ban worked!

Just make sure that your thread isn't about what you did while you were banned

I see what you did there.

I was starting to wonder where in the world did you go.
No.
I wasn't.
I didn't even notice.
But I remember you, and I could easly imagine the reason of your ban...

This reminded me of the greek gods, who were only as powerful as the amount of prayers they received. Perhaps theres something to be said for mirroring classical civilisation.

I agree. Now that the discrimination is not there, you don't have to get banned again. Now if only you made a real guide. One that is humorous but serious.

Continue to hang out with friends

Now, just change the sentence to look like this:

Hang out more with your friends instead of panicking about a ban.

Seriously?

Coping with a ban? Is that really necessary?

No, just go outside, have a blast, then come back.

@ the whole guide

You're either:

-Trollin'

-Trying to get attention

-Trollin' to get attention.

You could say that, or you could say I just pointed out he shouldn't panic about a ban, seeing it's a meaningless thing. Or that a guide on how coping with bans is just not necessary when you got better things to do rather then counting the days until the ban's over.

But yeah, maybe I pointed out nothing.

Next you should make a guide on how to get banned seven days.

You try too hard, and you're still not very funny.

Every time you sit down at the computer and think about something funny you could put on AG to wh*re some attention. I die a little on the inside. I can see that has happened 24 times already.

If you don't realize what people are telling you, I'll say it myself.
Forget about AG that week and relax or go outside and be active. Ag is not your life, unless your name is FireTail or Ernie.
