so me and my friend were debating over which band is better.
what do yall think, give your reasons.

im for metallica, due to the fact that they have way better solos and riffs, also their singing does not sound like they are stonede out of their mind

metallica, easy

They've been into complicated riffs and some awesome solo's for years, plus the lead vocals are pretty decent. all around very talented . . . .and they're still kickin.

AC/DC has some catchy songs but they're singer didn't have the greatest voice, definitely a signature voice, just not a great one. AC/D-Who?

This is kind of unfair to compare a thrash metal band to a hard rock band but I think that Metallica is much better

AC/DC every time. I love almost all of their music and I absolutely despise Metallica.

I think they are both at the top in their respective kind of music.
I like them both.
I can not decide who's "THE BEST".

AC/DC. They were one of the first hard rock bands out there, the beginning of Thunderstruck is unbelievable, and the lead singer is really good. Metallica, in my opinion, sold out faster than Modern Warfare 2 at my local Gamestop.

That decision is pretty easy for me to make as a rocker... AC/DC of course!!! =D

They are (like 'thepulse' said) on of the first bands out there to make awesome rock music right after the foundation was laid by such bands as Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Rainbow in the Metal and Rock genre!

Metallica is very ood to enjoy, but AC/DC wins every time... with hands down! =P
