Hello guys, I got this game today and I must say it's pretty awesome.
I feel it's a mixture of Prototype and GTA - you have a lot of freedom and the ability to overwhelm most of the military goons, but there are also challenging parts that come as consequence to your trouble-making. The landscapes are really pretty and diverse (max detail ftw?), and the story is pretty intriguing.
I am not that far into the game yet (3% to be honest. :S), but I am really enjoying the game so far. Currently on the setup of Sniper Rifle to pick off guards in lookout towers and such, and dual wield submachine guns, just because ammo is certainly in abundance and they're pretty powerful weapons for one hand.
Does anyone else play this game? Would you like to share your thoughts? . . . Anyone?
lol it is 10x better than gta for the ds that was an epic fail
Actually, despite the grainy graphics (which I'd expected from the DS game) and a few laggy bits I actually thoroughly enjoyed Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. It's one of the few DS games I kept just because it's of a very good standard for a DS game.
Remember Crashman, comparing Just Cause 2 which had a massive development team aiding its progress and then being on the most superior platform around and 3rd generation consoles to a game with a much smaller development team on a massively more inferior console is kind of unfair! :S
