Man, the Flames are the most talented team not to make the playoffs. But that's just because they play in a tougher conference. If they played in the East, they'd be a 6 seed. But still, this team is much better, and Jay Bouwmeester was this season's biggest bust. I think the decision to fire Mike Keenan was a terrible decision. He's won a Cup in the past, and I don't like people blaming him for Calgary losing in the quarter-finals the last two seasons. His players choked, and he got the blame. That isn't fair.
I can't believe the Ducks missed the playoffs! They are too talented to be the 13th best team in the West, that is just pathetic. And yes, I do believe that they have more talent on there bench than the Avalanche, it's just that Colorado has better team chemistry than Anaheim (I suppose), so that's why they made the playoffs and the Ducks played miserably.
I'm watching ESPN right now, and he picked Chicago over Washington in the Stanley Cup, and you know what, that could very well happen! Of course, I think Sid the Kid's Penguins always match up very well against Ovechkin and the Caps, so don't count them out on repeating. Also, Detroit's veteran leadership can never be counted out. Turn your heads on them, and you're down 3 games to 1, and your season is lost.
