I never really considered drummers to need to be super skilled. They keep the beat, what else do you need?

I don't really pay much attention to the drums unless they are really pronounced.

I had taken lessons for a few months, but my teacher was sorta repetitive and boring. I think I'll just be self taught and learn songs on my own. My friend is better than me at drums and he is self taught.
