Suicide is the act of killing yourself. It is widely accepted as being wrong, i think we can all agree to that. But for some reason people have been killing themselves because of bullying. Then the bully is condemn as "assisted suicide" or something like that, and can go to jail for it. My question is do you think this is fair? People have flamed me before and called me names yet i am still alive. Is it the parents fault for not getting involved? How much blame should actually be put on the bullies shoulders? Suicide is called suicide because the person makes the choice of ending their own life, and it is not illegal to call someone fat and ugly on your face book hence FREEDOM OF SPEECH. PS: i think internet bulling is bad. BUT shouldn't be stooped or punished due to freedom of speech.

If you read my last post you will see that I agree with you. However it is not WHAT was said, but HOW it was said. It is the light hearted tone which I take offense to.
in short my history: My idea of happines was: be alone in my room and dont think suicidal.
cause: for being bullied, called useless, weak, pushed, kicked ect.

answer to the question: Bullies are most little childeren... then dont understand the risk. There parents dont know whats happening. At the end: suicide, who made the mistake? Its hard to see when someone is getting bullied.
So: the company ''just'' need to open there eyes.
@rangersoul5: You think to simple. Reasons to bully someone can be realy different. Not only: you got glasses or your black... thats why you need to get bullied. there are A LOT of reasons to do it.

ok, to give some more information. Why does someone want to commit suicide? Because: they dont have any reason to live anymore. Why do you want to live if you dont have a reason....
a tip: If you see someone getting lonely, talk to him, make sure she/he will have friends... make sure he will have a reason to live.

ok to get things straight if you really look at the details and think these people commiting suicide are the kids which are being bullied but the people who denie it which they have a right to because of the freedom of speach
I am one of these kids being bullied a have came close to suicide several times but the greater things in life kept me up*btw*
either way no matter your belife legally people shouldnt be punished for bullieing yet they shouldnt be bullieing in the first place which makes it the schools fault for not takeing care of that
So saddly people have their own decitions and if they blwo a hole in there brain or go sky diving its their fault not anyone elses

bviously i didnt commit suicide. i now go to a different school, and have a "criminal record"
My son took a 4" locking-blade knife to school. It was his first offense so the judge dropped the charges. He is attended another school, and will for the remainder of this school year because after he had another offense.
I'm proud of you for being strong and finding many reasons to live. Your life is just beginning so don't let anyone take it away from you!
My son's second offense was a result of a brush-off from a girl he had a crush on. He felt so guilty for this mistake that he thought of suicide. He's now in a hospital, being observed 24/7. This may sound too dramatic but he is the type that holds everything in. He never complains about fevers, ear aches, bullies at school, so when the school called me, I got there and read what the counselor said, I took it seriously.

It takes a strong person to ask for help. From what you say, you're that strong person. None of your peers need to know if you decide to talk to the school counselor.
