I still love Colony, but I want your guys's thoughts on this.

Colony is not yet dead. If we should believe our head web developer, Larry Root, an update to the game is planned along with AG 3.0.

People still play Colony, just not as much as it's shining days.
You know all games lose interest eventually.

Huh? Nothing. Colony's replaybilty factor is just low and this is why people lose interest.. there really isn't many different things you can do in the game and such.. this is why, I got bored of after 1 week.

Colony is not dead. This morning glastondale was full and Beatrix was half full.

Vet-wise it is dead. I seem to be the only vet that played last week.

ps. i will lose this account after the 5th ag game tourney.

Most of the players now are from Kong and/or newgrounds, I think.

I'm from AG but I play mostly on kong since my work computer seems to lag less on it :P. Colony is about the only game I play on kong though lol.

Besides, I check Colony on Kong and there's usually 30-40 people in the room. So it's not dead.

Eh, A lot of original players aren't on. I haven't been on for about 2 weeks so I wouldn't know.

It does get kinda boring after 30 games or so.

In my opinion i think its already dead, there are a lot of bugs that needs to be fixed and the gameplay style is too poor for me, it also gets laggy in others computers. But i really liked the game, that is a bad thing for such a great game...

You read my post right?

Like most online MP games that don't get updated at intervals, Colony's popularity has dipped after nearly a year since release. Since an update is planned, Colony isn't dead. And because it's still popular at Kong, it's not dead yet.

Krin's working on a Sinjid game right now, so a Colony update is kinda far off. Also, Iroot (Our web developer Larry) mentioned an update to Colony when AG 3.0 is unveiled. And AG 3.0 is a faraway from us, so it looks like we'll be stuck with Colony as it is right now, for quite a while.
