I went ahead and finally made this small update to v4.0 of the guide with a few typo fixes and I added a missing step to the button guide

I love these features! I can unleash my uncanny disturbia and quasi-hilarious humbuggery like never before with these tools!

The one thing I haven't seen a lot of is people posting images that link places. Let's see if I can do it...

Ha! It worked. I wish this site had some more BBCode techniques I could learn and play around with.

The link works fine. What is it you're trying to do?

Changing the name of the link instead of the link itself.

Under Text Formatting, read the sixth note down. It should be right below the regular link instructions.

Would it be possible to add new bbcode, like youtube bbcode?

Like embedding a video?

Exactly, so you can click on the video without opening a new window and it just plays on the page.

I doubt if the staff here would be very fond of it, even if you could, and it's a pain on users on lesser systems and/or connections.

What you do is highlight the bit of text you want to be a hyperlink, then click the "link" button in the reply screen, and paste in the link there.

Note the resulting tags; you can add these by hand, instead, although with a URL link the format is involved enough that I prefer to go the automated way.
