I went ahead and finally made this small update to v4.0 of the guide with a few typo fixes and I added a missing step to the button guide

Use lowercase tags otherwise they won't work.

Case in point: Don't use links with codes provided by the site. Take the direct link and use this site's buttons, or write them out on your own without touching the caps or shift key.
And yes, tags/codes are case sensitive, just like my eyes.

Oh yeah for the 'Link' button, what your supposed to do is highlight the text you want to link. Then, in the dialog box, enter the link.
