I am graduating this year and made up my grad commence message today, it is what they will say as we cross the stage at commencement. I tried to make it a little bit corny because family will be there but funny for my friends...

"I didn't want to be the kid no one knew. I didn't want to be the kid everyone knew. I just wanted to be the kid who made people smile. Cool Story Bro!"

We were limited to 30 characters. I had a good comment in the yearbook but I can't remember it so I guess I'll just have to wait for it to come out to see it again.

So what were your grad comments? Did you go for funny or serious, and is mine stupid? xD

Hmm, we didn't have that at my school. we just had senior quotes for the yearbook. My senior quote was, "Tonight... You..." -Handbanana

I'm still a few years off, but here's what I would say:

"To all those I hate, good riddance; to all those I don't, see you tomorrow."

Yours is somewhat off. The 'Cool Story Bro' part is sorta out of place.

It's good though.

I wrote a normal serious one thanking friends and family and avoiding in jokes and weird hip grammar; all for the sake of her never checking who I quote at the end of my grad in the yearbook for all the students in the school to see.
