its like napolean dynomite. how do you possibly make a succesfull sequel to that
Napoleon could go to college.
Avatar could not have a sequel, though. It wasn't a good enough movie for it. Not enough plot. At least Napoleon could have some potential for a sequel.
People are simple. Give them 3hours of pretty stuff to look at, guns, explosions and what not and hey you have a successful movie. But overall I enjoyed Avatar it actually provides what most movies don't, an imersment into the world you're watching.
Well, there were plans for a Napoleon Dynamite sequel back in the day. Watched the movie. It's hilarious.
As for those blue folks, I dunno what a second would be about. I'm speculating that it won't be as much of a record breaker as the first is. Also, I don't really like movies being processed as batches, to be spawned out every year or two. I didn't watch Avatar in 3D so I've probably missed out on all the amazingness.
Actually James Cameron said that a two sequals would be made if Avatar was successful. I have a feeling that one of the tribes will decide that they should be like the humans and advance their technology, therefore causing a war. Also James Cameron said it would take around 4 years to make Avatar 2, so don't get to excited.
if you're going to compare it to anything compare it to starwars... but its hard to make a sequal cause he killed the general... if they attack again its repetetive... idk if anything it might be another planet invading or something... idk
no avatar is done. its like napolean dynomite. how do you possibly make a succesfull sequel to that
I totaly agree they are only doing it for more money. The only people who will watch it will be the ones who dont care about the story and just want eye candy.
Apparently, since the humans *need* the unobtanium for their race to survive, there's really a lot of room to flesh out the plot and bring in more sides. I honestly think it's a movie that needs a sequel.
