Yes, i know this is a long title, sorry. Simply fill a character sheet and post. For the beginning, i will only be taking 2 people, but as the scenarios progresses i will add on more. The is based on the book the Spine of the World, by R.A. Salvatore. It actually has a Rpg section in the back, which i will be reading out of and using their hit system. a weapon can increase damage or chances to hit, and i will constantly be making secret die rolls here. each round, a character may take one action such as climbing a ladder, attacking, casting a spell, or jumping boxes. Lets get down to business.

Character Sheet:

Seneschal Dondo: human cleric
To hit number: 11
(to make an attack, i'll roll 3 dice and if it's eleven or greater, your atatck succeeds.)
Damage: 1 die + 1
(When a cleric hits, roll 1 die and add one to the result.)
Hp: 12
Spells: cure wound(2) and bless(2)
Cure wounds: the cleric invokes the power of the good gods and and heals a friendly character for 1 die.
Bless: the power of good gods protects the party from evil, and all enemies hit with -1 damage for one battle.
Description: human average build. 5'2" tall weighs 120 lbs. Blond hair brown eyes. Has light chainmale and servicable cloak. cannot use sharp weapons, is forbidden by her gods.

Crondell BattleSmoke: dwarven warrior
to hit number: 9
hit damage: 1 die + 3
hp: 16
skills: can use any weapons or armor
description: 4'5" tall and sturdy build. gloomy brown eyes, and unkempt beard.

Golly G. Willacres: Halfling Theif
To hit number: 13
damage: 1 die
hp:10
skills: trap searching and pick lock
Trap searching: will be done automatically for halfling
Pick Lock: i roll 3 dice and if it's 6 or greater lock is picked.
description: 3'7" tall 90lbs. bright blond locks give him childlike appearence which contrasts roguish nature. Wears leather armor and soft boots.

Copy and paste a character sheet, remember only 2 people. Then we'll get started. Please be active, but remember i have a life. I cannot be on 24/7.

sniperfi.. i was only taking 2 people but i suppose i can take a thrid... let me explain how decision making in a party willwork. Pretty much whoever posts first, makes a decision for the group. If you don't like, simply state so and tell what your are doing. (ex: leaving the group, killing another member.) also, in combat the numbers on the character sheet are for basic weapons. A club, a chair, or any improvised weapons. If you find a short sword, damage and hit chance will be increased.

All 3 of you, here is the beginning storyline.

YOur party left the main town of Luskan a few weeks ago pursuing more adventure. Tavern tales of goblins and gold led you to the Forests of The duchy of Auckney. Time travel and bad luck dwindled your resources.Shortly after entering Auckney you found work as guards for Barabus, the local High tax-collecter. Thus employed, you traveled extensively during the last three weeks and had begun the final leg of your journey back to castle Auck. You had collected taxes at a rural farmhouseand were riding out again to rejoin the rest of the high tax collectors group when a woman's shreiks drew your attention. Two orcs, filthy bipedal creatures wearing rusty armor and carrying clubs smashed their way into the farmouse you had just left! You spurred back to aid the farmers and dispatched the orcs with relative ease. You left the dim interior of the farmhouse and as you left an old man points at you and shouted, "that's them! they killed my wife!!" a garrison of soldiers happens to be nearby and sets upon you.Golly G. Willacres, you notice that all the soldiers have red armbands tied around their right biceps. Certain of your innocence, you let yourselves be apprehended by the local garrison and wind up prisoners ofthe high tax collecter. Your trial is swift and one-sided. Many pesent witnesses point you out as guilty, The high tak-collecter, Barabus, presents your backpacks that are stuffed full of copper, silver, and even a few gold coins. He shows evidence of tampering with the ledgers of the collections and points out all the opportunities your group had to preform such vile deeds. Presents crowd forward to describe your strong-arm tactics and relate stories of abuse. Lord Ferinagl, the ruler of the area, orders you taken to the dungeons until and tortured until you confess to the crimes. After hearing the sentence you feel the pain of a stunning blow to the back of your head, and everything turns black.

When you awaken, you are in a small dark cell and chained to a wall. You have all spells and hit points, and armor. All your fabulous weapons were confiscated. scattered about the cell are bones of long-dead prisoners. some of the bones are quite large, perhaps even belonging to an ogre. a glint of light from the tiny cell window reveals webs covrinng the ceiling. What are you doing? (ex: pick the locks, break the chains, yell for help, try to smash the lock with a bone.) you have many choices. (make one)

Thanks, XSilentPhantomX

Golly G. Willacres recognizes this as a simple lock that he has seen many times before. He takes up a small bone and pick his lock. (3 die roll of 6+) He then frees his party members, and he and Senschal pick up bones. Suddenly, a huge, hairy spider drops from a cavity in the ceiling, right in to middle of the group. What do you do?

Large Spider: Arachnid Beast.
To hit number: 12
Damage number: 1 die + 1
Description: a large hairy spider that quite frankly, made you scream when you saw it.
Hp: 8
Abilities: Poison
Poison: i roll 3 die, on 7- a hero gets -2 from all dice rolls for rest of combat.

You quickly scan the cell and see a door on the far side. What are you doing? (make choice.)

Thanks, XSilentPhantomX
