Yes, I have to agree with both of you. However AG doesn't have enough MP online games yet, to make a new section. If I recall there are only half a dozen or so. I really hope that AG gets into online multiplayer more, seeing as it is lagging behind.

Just need a moderator to give the final verdict. I firmly believe that there aren't enough MP games yet to warrant a new section. And that we need more MP games.
AG has no reason in making a game section for half a dozen games. Otherwise we'd have a section for 'TD games'. AG makes sections that are broad, general and circulate all Flash genres (Everything else goes into Misc).

I agree with knight, there aren't enough MP games, and they all fit into the current genres or Mis. If AG becomes a hub for such games, perhaps the admins will rethink such an idea...

It would mean a lot of server space being used when this is implemented and somehow I don't see AG coping with that right now... they currently already have a lot of problems with keeping the website running without major glitches appearing every now and then!
And when they DO have such a section created for multiplayer games, they at least should have enough games to put in them like knight_34 stated...
So just give AG time to prepare the website for future usage and then we can see what action is to be made in this! Doing this now, only seems too soon...

Exactly my point, we need more MP games before making a category for them. Though genres are broad and general, MP games are usually put in their own sub-genre for convenience. If not another section entirely, at least somewhere where MP games are more noticeable.

Hehe, by the time AG plans to expand into multiplayer it should have the equipment necessary. If it wouldn't plan before taking action, that would be foolhardy. Armor Games is not foolhardy.

Right, they probably will have all the tools necessary in place by then, but it still leaves the wondering if this is something they should do... but hey, in all honesty, I'm not that big a fan of MMORPG, so I am a little biased on this subject... but it still leaves me with an objective thought on this matter!
Not necessarily an MMORPG. You could have different genres of MP flash games. Other known examples of MP games would be shooters, strategy games, racing games, platform combat games, RPGs, tower defense games, drawing games, card games etc.
I envy Kongregate for having such fast web development.
I dunno. AG has to at least develop its site some more. Web development has been lagging. I am sure the AGI will be greatly improved.

They should (and probably are busy to) improve the website, even if it only means to prevent them from falling behind on other gaming websites... :S I haven't been a member that long, but it does seem to go a bit slow with the developing and upgrading of the website... at least that's what I can understand from all those users commenting and complaining all the time about it being slow in upgrading...
It has really in truth, been slow here. And know since I've seen the progression both AG and Kongregate for the past 2 1/2 years.
So, in basic, what you're saying is that AG actually IS falling behind on other websites like i.e. Kongregate?! Ouch... that's tough! 0_o
Maybe they should try to speed up things (if that's not what they ARE actually doing right now) and try to keep up with the others, maybe even with introducing that Multiplayer option that has been suggested in this thread... sure hope they can take the heat from the other websites and stay alive... I'd hate to see this great website go down!
