If the world really was going to end on 2012 then wouldn't countries in Europe be first because those countries are some hours ahead than other countries like USA or Canada. Please post other reasons here.
Why should we believe in a freaking old calendary?! The world wont end 2012 thats just what some people say. Its the same like some people think that friday the 13th are bad days but they arent.
actually there are sc ientific facts about 2012, like I think a planet is supposed to passover the sun on that day, or all planets are going to line up, or something like that, just saying....I don't believe the world will end, but there is a possibility for something to happen

I thought you might like to read this report report. I had studied this a long time ago and since the drought theory for the Mayan calendar made since I just forgot about it. The Classic Maya Collapse is still a mystery just as the date December 21, 2012 is the abrupt end to their calendar.
I'm not going to bother listing any Logical Reasons the World might not end in 2012. There are far too many. What I invite you all to do is give one logical reason y the would actually might end in 2012. Pretty hard isn't it? There was Y2K, 6-6-06, and hundreds of "doomsdays" before them. And you know what? There were know real logical reasons the world would end on those dates. And you know what else? NOTHING HAPPENED
The only reason the Myans stoped making calenders was probably because they were tired of making them. If you made calenders with rocks 3000 years into the future then you would be tired too.
The most significant thing happening in 2012 is that for the first time in several millennia all the planets will align and we'll actually be able to see into the center of our galaxy.
