So recently (10 Minutes ago) I got booted off the IMac. I don't really care, because now I have the Dell in my room to play more games on, although there still is a problem...
When I was playing Warcraft III on the computer, it immediately crashed. I was exaggerating, it actually crashed about 3 minutes after starting the campaign, yes, 5 minutes into the new computer and I already got the Blue Screen of Death. I don't want to reset the computer because my mom uses it for taxes sometimes, because she really needs 3 computers to do the taxes... :/
Although the Dell really isn't that bad, it does have it's problems. Personally I hate how the Dell has a really gritty screen. I hate how I'm much more error prone when typing on this computer.
But I do like how I can get more stuff, and I'm sure to get more games and such for it. So for now, I'm fine with the computer.
This is what I think of Dell
As far as I know, I'm stuck with the Dell until I get a new computer. At least it has Pinball!
After all, people get Dells for the sole purpose of playing Pinball.
Only loosers do work on Dells
Have fun getting used to the error prone Krizaz!
Edit: I'm still getting used to the Dell Keyboard, even though there's barely any difference. But there is a difference.
Heading over to E-Bay to get some games! Also GameSpot.
Yeah, found that out when I tried the Empire: Total War demo on this, glitchy as hell, and the text didn't show up. I really want Empire: Total War on the Mac, I don't think Boot Camp would work.
Lol, didn't you know that playing recent games effs up non-gaming laptops? Never play recent games with non-gaming laptops. Stick with desktops for gaming.
It seems that some of you folks are suffering from Dell. And others are just fine.
I got a HP.
Hewlett-Packer is awesome.
Computors are all the saem on the inside!!!!!! Its just the box there placed in!
Nah, not really. Though to some electric circuit boards are all the same, a circuitboard from 1985 isn't the same as one from 2010.
I think you people need to realize a few bad experiences out of millions doesn't mean Dell sucks. I have a Studio XPS desktop with an Intel Core i7, a 1 TB HDD, Nvidia GTS 240, Windows 7, and various other nice things. It cost me about $1000, to build this computer myself would cost at least $1500. I've had it for about 4 months already with no problems. I would also like to mention that my old family computer that was bought end of 2001/ beginning of 2002 still works and is a dell. Its not a gaming computer and can no longer keep up with modern programs, but it still works fine.
Yes Moe, exactly what I was stating. The old family HP from the mid-nineties survived until five years ago. Though I kinda made it die faster by downloading stuff with dial-up and getting a $300 bill eight years ago.
Dell is one of the biggest vendors of PCs. If Dell is bull, then how did a college drop-out become one of the biggest players in the computer industry?
Well. I don't have to use the Dell for much now, I'll still use it every so often, but I gave up on it. Did a factory reset and BAM, my life is better again.
I'd have to agree, dell sucks, but I have that pinball game on my PC and it's pretty fun if your waiting for something/someone or if you just want to waste time. Me personaly i'm good at real life pinball machines, pluss they're a lot more fun. =-P
