We used to have a similar feature where there was a box with a random game on the front page. It was taken down and replaced by the "Web Game" box, so the site could make more money by advertising web games instead of onsite games.
This has been suggested numerous times, and there aren't many downsides to it, so I assume it will be implemented into AG 3.0, because there aren't many updates that will be happening here anymore.
