i recently have been inspired by a friend to start making my comments much more detailed and longer to help support the game and show my views. I was writing one for colony, but when i posted this LONG review, it didn't post. instead, the text in the 'comment' box disappeared, the 'submit' box became "you cannot post again for 30 seconds" and underneath, where my text should have gone was just a yellow flash of nothing, the flash i am saying is the flash that appears when you post something. when i refreshed my page to see if it posted i was logged out and i think it didn't post because of my profile randomly being logged out. armogames, can you fix this problem please so it doesn't happen again?

It's called [ctrl]+[c].

Me too. Just do not bother the glitch. AG is like this and will be until AG 3.0 comes along. Copy is your friend. [Control]+[C], use it!

If you are going to make repeat threads.

...

...

Don't.

Naww, this happens every two clicks for me. I put up with it, it just is annoying. A lot. Copy all your important comments.

copy/paste it from notepad, that might work.

Just write the review again, it shouldn't be hard if you remembered what you wrote before, even if it's just a few sentences.

On Firefox there's a little app called lazarus that saves any text you type incase you lose it.

I learned that lesson long time ago. Copy every long comment before hitting submit.

You just lose the will, I usually write the short version of the the comment that went to oblivion after this happens.

I copied this post before submitting.

Sure, around half the people in this thread, say exactly what I said!

I know what you mean shayneii. Just something you'll have to learn to live with. T_T

Wordpad is better. Notepad messes up the spacing for me.

Sure, I have to repeat Graham again. This is the internet!!
That doesn't work well with long reviews.

I can vouch for the option of using the notepad for making reviews and then copy/paste them into the submit box to post them... I too learned that lesson almost immediately when signing up for membership with AG!

It's a simple glitch that, at first, gets you really annoyed, but later on when you accept it and get used to copy/paste everything before clicking submit, you don't pay any attention to it anymore...

So to repeat the other users...

- With a short comment or post: copy it before you submit it;
- When writing a review: write it in notepad or wordpad, copy it, paste it in the box and click submit.

These actions make your life on AG a lot more enjoyable!
And... you can start annoying yourself about the other glitches happening on AG from time to time... LOL =P

Or get, what's it name... Lazarus add on for Firefox someone mentioned. Either way, if you lose something because you log out, and it was important, you are not paranoid enough. When it happens enough, you get to be more cautious.
