I sort of discovered patterns in math a long time ago.. where I take a number such as 21 and add the numbers in that number, so 21 is 2+1 which equals 3! If you do this with all the numbers 1-100 it creates a pattern.

But what you're trying to do is rather similar to Pascal's triangle. If you read up, you'll find it has all kinds of geometrical numeric symmetries and properties, it's really quite cool, especially when you start doing polynomial math.
