Couldn't find this anywhere so I'm posting it here anyway. Sorry if you've been notified already, but for if you haven't been yet:
I keep noticing that the newcomersboard is slightly bugged. On the mainpage of the community, it says last post was the one in the FAQ, 2 days ago, whilst there are new posts posted recently. Even if you just post a new reply at a newbie's post, it still says the last post was posted 2 days ago in the FAQ thread.
Sounds like the time-glich. Besides the last point of cause. The forums are a bit glitchy from time to time, it should not really be a problem besides it looking like there is no activity.
