I don't really hate country music. Some songs I can listen to and enjoy. I wouldn't know the names, but I'd like them. The only 2 country songs I normally listen to are The Devil Went Down to Georgia by Charlie Daniel and On The Road Again by Willie Nelson.
Hmm, grew up with a bit of country... mostly Johnny Cash and Emmylou Harris. I don't really love or hate it (although I did say that quite often when I still lived at home), it's just something that brings back childhood memories.
Country music is boring and annoying for me. I mean I like alottttt of genres, but country is eww. I got much better alternatives for slow vocalic music.
I like all kinds of music too, Drace but I do draw the line with high pitched nasal voices. Dolly, gets close but Emmie Lou Harris' voice is like finger nails on the chalk board to me. Only a handful of Bluegrass performers appeal to me but I think the dulcimer is one of the finest instruments I've ever heard if played well.
