Geez, nice opening post.. Could have put some interesting story about how you freaked out over it or something, not just the date you got it.
I don't have an XBox 360, but my friend does. He's gotten the RROD on 2 360s. His brother got the RROD on one of them, and he picked it up and screamed, "Why?!" and the electrical cord touched him and shocked him (don't worry, he's alive). The second 360 didn't necessarily got the RROD, but it's hard drive melted or something. I laughed, cause it was 2 days after Modern Warfare 2 came out.

Makes a lot more sense then putting it vertically. I was borrowing my friend's copy of MW2 cause my cousin (who had a 360) was over at my house. Everything ran smoothly, but he had his 360 put vertical and my little brother came with his rubber ball and threw the ball at my cousin's 360. It fell over, and he ran to put it back up. You could hear the disc get scratched. I had to buy my friend a new copy of MW2.
